Mountain Dream Hideaway

This is the third time in two years that our family has stayed at Mountain Dream Hideaway! We simply love this home! While nestled cozily out of the way with a view of the mountains, you are still close to downtown Blue Ridge. The home itself is perfect for families. The downstairs offers air hockey, Pac Man arcade game, lots of board games, videos, a gas fireplace, jacuzzi, and TV to enjoy from the large sofa. The bedroom downstairs offers double bed sized bunkbeds and a full bath. On the main floor the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. No need to bring anything other than your food. Outside on this level is a wood burning fireplace with seating so we had fun making s'mores out there. The entire home is clean and well-maintained and Lisa is a joy to work with. We have no complaints whatsoever about Mountain Dream Hideaway! In fact, my young children cried when we had to leave. Highly recommend this home!

We almost never stay anywhere twice, but this cabin is the exception. We have stayed in 5-6 cabins in the Blue Ridge area and this one is by far the best. The host is very invested in keeping the house in good condition, very clean, and stocked with everything you need. The location is great, so quiet with beautiful mountain views but close to town and great hikes just 5-10 min away. They even left s'mores stuff for our kids when we checked in! I couldn't recommend this cabin any more than I do, we will certainly be back again.

Mountain Dream Hideaway was absolutely perfect. Beautiful cabin with everything you could possibly need - dish soap & laundry detergent, hand soap in all bathrooms, shampoo & shower gel samples in all bathrooms, plenty of towels including those used for the hot tub. Lisa was very attentive & responsive, and had great suggestions on where to dine in town. Plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep everyone entertained, plus a short drive to enjoy all there is to do in Blue Ridge. One thing that was a little unexpected was the drive off the main road to the cabin. Combination of gravel and paved roads were fine, but they are only wide enough for one car at a time, with little room to get off to the side should you encounter a car coming the opposite direction. However, there are only a handful of cabins on those roads, and we did not see any other cars on the road. Overall, it was the perfect cabin and made for a wonderful, relaxing getaway!

I went up with my family for spring break from FL and had the most amazing time ever! The house was absolutely perfect for the entire family. Games downstairs were played by all and the hot tub enjoyed by my wife and I at night looking out at the stars and mountains. We will go back for sure! Thank you Lisa for opening your home to us!
